Kakenukero! sounds very much like your usual upbeat b-side Arashi song-it’s nothing mind-blowing, nothing revolutionary, but when you allow it to grow on you, it clings like nothing you’ve ever known before. The start is very Summer Splash, don’t you think? Only bolder and jazzier. See? Leave your worries and everything here Wherever we try searching for, there's no reason for it, let's take it all in and go Time heartlessly passes by, so don't come to a stand still It’s just plainly feel-good and a reason for the boys to go a little nutters and maybe a tad sillier than usual during the live performance, which just comes so naturally to them. I like though that it’s a song that doesn’t take itself too seriously it doesn’t try to be cool either. Tell me you didn’t imagine beach balls, sunshine, cakes, bikes, and over-groomed pretty boys making love to the camera and subtly flirting with each other. It’s just funny that when the chorus kicks in, it’s obviously still a Johnny’s song. This track is just so energetic and, I don’t know how to put it, almost exploratory in its feeling? Especially the bridge, right before the chorus, which I love. I was so surprised at the opening notes and the techno beat at first, I was like, am I really listening to an Arashi album? But then Sho came in with his rapping and I was like, yep, I’m home. The beginning of a new story will be born from here

And by review, I really mean inflicting my amateur (and not to mention imbecilic) thoughts to anyone with the misfortune to stumble on my blog. This time it's no different! I spent the past couple of days listening in order to review Arashi's latest album, Popcorn. You know how the story goes: I get impatient to get my actual copy of the album, I download it, I listen to it, and then I pseudo review it.
